COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST

As Counselling Psychologist in The Hague I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Webster University, Geneva.

I worked at the International School of Geneva, Webster University Geneva, St. Vincent’s Psychiatric Hospital in Dublin, The International Criminal Court in The Hague and practiced privately working with adults, adolescents and children.

I am a member of The British Psychological Society, the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen, the NVPA, the Algemene Beroepsvereniging voor Counselling and a RCZ registered therapist and I adhere to their ethical codes of professional practice.

As a mother of three students and having lived 27 years abroad, in 8 different countries across 4 continents, I have personal experience of life as an international student, employee and of expat family life. Previous to my study and work as a psychologist I was employed as European marketing manager at an American multinational. These personal experiences have given me a good appreciation of the challenges and difficulties faced by the International community working and living abroad. They enhance my work as international and multi-cultural psychologist.

I speak English and Dutch fluently and have good knowledge of French, German and Italian.
